1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OilOutpost ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

OilOutpost is a platform that connects homeowners seeking heating oil with local heating oil dealers. We provide:

• Price comparison tools for heating oil in the Northeast United States
• A bidding system where homeowners can request quotes from dealers
• Communication tools to connect homeowners with winning dealers

3. User Accounts

Homeowner Accounts: To request quotes, you may need to provide a valid email address, name, phone number, and delivery address.

Dealer Accounts: Heating oil dealers must provide accurate business information, maintain valid licenses and insurance, honor quoted prices, and pay applicable connection fees.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Fees and Payments

For Homeowners: OilOutpost is free. You pay only the dealer directly for heating oil.

For Dealers:

• Listing: Free
• Bidding: Free
• Win Fee: $15 per single delivery, $75 per annual contract

Refunds: Dealers may request a refund within 14 days if the customer is unreachable, cancels, or provided invalid contact information.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to: provide false information, use the Service unlawfully, manipulate pricing, harass other users, interfere with the Service, scrape data, create multiple accounts, or impersonate others.

6. Dealer Obligations

Dealers agree to: provide accurate pricing, honor quotes, respond promptly, deliver as agreed, maintain licenses and insurance, comply with laws, and not misuse customer information.

7. No Guarantee

OilOutpost does not guarantee accuracy of prices, availability of dealers, quality of service, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

OilOutpost shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify OilOutpost from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content are owned by OilOutpost and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.

11. Termination

We may terminate your account immediately for any reason, including breach of Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
